To be honest, I have struggled with how to answer this question for a while. The fact is, there isn’t just one answer as to why I created a travel agency. Since childhood, I have been curious; always trying to learn new things. But it’s more than that. I want to experience new things. I want to be confronted with new ideas and new possibilities. I want to be challenged and awe inspired. I am definitely a “foodie”. I want to try all types of food an beverage possibilities. I am also an experientialist. I don’t just want to exist, I want to experience life. At the same time, I am a people person. I enjoy being around people, entertaining, and learning. I enjoy helping others, and feel a sense of accomplishment when I can. I earned a degree in International Affairs to explore the world and see how people around the world interact. It is time to use it. But yet there is more. I have made a career of helping people. I work with estates. I work with people at some of the lowest points in their lives. It is fulfilling – knowing that I am helping. But it is also confining and routine. It doesn’t feed my curiosity. To feed my curiosity, I have traveled. I have created tours and vacations for myself. I have cruised. I have also studied travel and have quite a bit of knowledge to share.
“So why a travel agency?”, you might ask. A travel agency allows me to explore the world while still helping others. I explore and learn to help our clients have seamless adventures. It pulls together all the training, skill, and experience I have in management, problem solving, research, technology, communications, and organizational. It seems to be the perfect fit.
